Well , a month ago my friend dropped his bold 9900 in water.
He took out battery and the phone is working but , dark screen. He get calls , led is working and if you shine some light on the screen you can read text messages.
Now i would like to know if anybody knows a descent tip to recover the screen ?
Will i need to replace it ?
Should i clean the phone with some special water for electric ?

I guess it's to late as the phone is already a month damaged but you never know.
It is a nice phone and it would be nice te recover it.

    Thanks in advance.

Many years ago my LG flip phone fell into the pool.
I opened it up and kept a hair dryer blowing on it all night .
( set it to low speed )
Worked , but had to purchase a new battery.

You can try buying a screen on ebay but there are different screen types that fit the motherboard.

Never use a hair dryer to dry a cell phone or similar electronics as there are possibilities of blowing water around into areas that water had not reached and doing more damage. Also heat and electronic devices do not mix well. Try the bowl of rice trick, remove door, pull battery, dry with lint free cloth, put all in bowl with rice and cover with rice, let sit overnight, remove phone, battery and door from rice, replace batyery and door, add water to rice, place in pan on stove, bring to boil on high, remove from heat, add butter, salt and whatever you like, eat rice, turn on phone, If still not working, go to store and repair or replace as needed.

Use a water absorption pack, they're designed for exactly this sort of thing.. I've used Rescuetec with good success.
