The PIN of your device is what you will use to register some applications, add BBM buddies or send PIN messages.

These numbers are unique to each device

In any text entry field you can type mypin then space and it will appear.

You can also go to options then status and it will show you your PIN.

You would have to have another friend or someone with a BlackBerry, you can then send PIN messages, instead of SMS messages. Another messaging service, but only works from BB to BB.

Nope - just know, once you give that PIN out to people, for as long as you have that device they will always know it. It's not like a phone number where you can change it.

You may want to read this - contains lots of good information.

No problem. Hopefully you learned something new about your device today, and the addiction will continue to grow!

You know, I have been watching this thread as the posts came in. I have not seen such a clear, complete, concise, and coordial thread here in the forums in a long time.

No sense of superiority, and no silly individuals chiming in insulting the OP.

drm2blv, great work! I wish more fellow CrackBerry members worked like this.

I knew I was following you on twitter for a reason. Peace.

Why thank you. I have been around these forums for a long time, trust me I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I see no reason to talk down to people, treat them like they are foolish for asking a question or anything of this nature. I always think "we were ALL n00bs at one point." I have also realized members strive on the tempo of the thread, so if you keep the answers positive, and helpful, those looking for trouble will continue on their little way.
