I'm in a course on Shakespeare and we took a trip to the library today haha. So, some rare books in my university's library. The first pic is a book worth about $80,000.

You do realise some of those photos are only possible because there's no autofocus though.

Since there are soo many questions regarding the camera on the 9900 i thought i would share some of the pictures i took with my new 9900 this past weekend at out company picnic is various light connections.

Personally i'm quite happy with them considering all posts about them.

Options : Digital zoom enabled, image stabilization off, image size large (2560x1920)
I'm going to pick mine up today! Best Buy has these puppies on sale for $99! Great pics and you have a beautiful family!

Exactly, one think I do like about the EDOF camera is that the clouds, sky, landscape, etc can all be in focus in the same picture.
With many auto-focus smartphone cameras, you need to pic either the sky (and have your landscape dark) or the landscape (and have the sky be too bright).

Anyways, did you guys see the video of the BB 10 camera? Looks amazing! Can't wait to try that out. Truly innovative in the mobile world (and even camera world in general!)

On a cell phone you can make an argument for AF vs EDOF both ways. Since a camera is a nice to have and not a must have. (like a great real keyboard)

But for a real camera, you would NEVER want a EDOF.

Agreed. I'm just talking about mobile phone wise.

I use a professional camera when I really want to take photographs. But for a quick snap, EDOF is fine for me. Quality is great for a smartphone. Different than AF. But again, with cellphones, there are trade-offs both ways.

^ya, this camera is not the greatest at taking pictures of business cards and the like.

Best way to do it is to back up a bit and zoom in once or twice, then hold the device as steadily as possible and snap the pic using the 'close up' function.

The only thing that could add to it is brief descriptions.
Some words could make some of these pics that much better.
