Was just wondering if it is good to wipe your phone completely after youve updated the OS a few times? is it good to wipe it and reload just the latest OS ? or is it ok to just update all the time and now wipe at all.
All depends on the circumstance. I try not to wipe during upgrades unless I have to do it twice. Like when I when from .266 to 5.0.100, the first time was a mess so I decided to wipe/downgrade/wipe/upgrade.
Before you decide to wipe, ensure that a 3rd party backup will work for you. I have tried to restore those files with every OS change and for some reason it never takes. It takes hours to get a phone back the way you like it with all your apps and their corresponding settings.
The only real way to know for sure if a wipe is needed is to do a few so you can get a feel for any potential advantages/disadvantages, then apply that knowledge to each OS change.
