phone keeps freezing after reinstall plus other probs

ok so ill try include everything here

i was give this phone (bold 9700 ) which had a broken screen and had been sitting in a draw for over a month
after changing the screen the phone just kept rebooting so i had to reinstall os 6
i selected o2 os6 install from there site but there was a few to choose from, how do i know i have the right one ?now every time i turn on mobile radio is will crash every time

the phone is a insurance replacement and has no logos/markings or stickers anywhere or a box

any help will be great

Likely the replacement was faulty, did you take it back for them to see it? Tried OS 5 on it at all?
