In the contacts/phone book there is an option for you to input pager, home and work numbers and then OTHER .
When you try and input something in this option you get weird symbols like a W and a P in a black circle and some letters don't show up at all.
What are you meant to input in this option??? And what are these weird symbols for??

Look in the upper right hand corner, it should show the numlock is engaged, so it's for adding numbers.

the "p" and "w" are for pause and wait, useful for adding pin codes to numbers for automated systems.
