just so everyone knows i have a bb storm running the software mentioned in my sig.
any ways my friend has a bb bold and i want to update his software for him. but i would like to know whats the best software currently available? i know that there is the 5.0.0.93 out obviously but is the 5.0 software buggy? and before i get flamed i did actually search but felt like i needed more opinions.
IMHO .266 for the Bold is the best. Others will tell you that .247 is better. Go with either one and it will be ok. I wouldn't personally go for any of the 5.0 for the Bold since they are still buggy. Both .247 and .266 have been officially released by at least one carrier too.

I agree with .266. If you encounter issues, downgrade to .247.

Agreed. Either one is great but 266, in my opinion, is the clear winner of the two.
