Thank you, I have already updated my beloved Bold

I can say that i find the browser a tiny bit faster than .247 and general navigation through menues seems a bit faster as well.

    Report more, later ..

One thing I noticed when I upgraded from .247 is that my images saved on my memory card take forever to load up again like they did prior to .247. Haven't seen any other issues thus far but its only been 30 mins with the new OS.

My pictures from memory card are opening just fine (same if not faster) than on .247 ..

Why is Bold the best phone ever made?

I saw this mentioned on some thread somewhere, but has anyone noticed a decrease in volume level with this build? Seems the ringer and notifications are noticeably quieter than with .247. I downgraded to .247 and noticed it being louder. Wonder if it's at all related to the "hiss" that has been reported as well.

Up and running with .266. It improved the available memory yet another 6MB over the bodaciously generous amount .247 had already given me when moving from .167.

So the general increase in performance is, and seems everyone has noticed:

    Improved battery life.
    Improved memory performance.

Other decreased performance, but not everyone has:

    Diminished volume levels.
    Thumbnails not loading.

I personally don't have the last two on my 9000. I wonder if it is carrier specific??? Or possible manufacturer specific???

I upgraded from .247 to this one today. Right after the upgrade, I had no data connection. Calls go through fine, but no data. Suddenly data started working for a while, then stopped again. It has been sporadic. I resent the service books, reregistered, restarted the phone. Unless the upgrade somehow went bad, I don't understand what the deal is. .247 was working fine.

I'm going to give it a little more time, but I may have to downgrade.

My battery seems slightly better on .266. Like I said though.... just slightly but otherwise I dont see any other changes. It mostly just bug fixes that most users would not notice.

    No issues so far.

Hey being new with this addiction, it is not foolish for me to ask, "what's the grand benefit to upgrading the OS?" Mine is fresh from the store except a few apps and themes. Any suggestions?

can someone please upload this version, Vodafone Multilanguage official and not the E Asia beta) to a mirror? I've had the DL die on me at around 70% about 10 times now.
    I'd really appreciate it.

its my fault for not manually backup up the apps. does it auto-back them up in some temp location? is their anyway to restore the apps.
