hey everybody

just got my bold 9900 by Amazon. the installed Version is OS 7.0.0.2406
when I want to make an upgrade(by Blackberry Desktop Manager or Application Loader method) ie. to OS 7.1.2534 i get a White Screen with "ERROR 200" and "RESTART" . when i make a akkupull or click on restart the same Screen appears.
now i am back at OS 7.0.0.2406 an it works, but any idea how i can update the bold succsessful?

Welcome to the forums! So good to see someone that has done his homework!

And since you've read all those guides, all I can think of is that the OS you're trying to load may not be for your device. Make sure you're not trying to load a 9930's OS. There is a chance there are some corrupted files as well... So use Control Pannel to uninstall everything (yes, everything), reboot your rig and install stuff again.

Once that is done, download the OS version you want (making sure it is for your device) and give it a go. I personally prefer autoloader over DM. Good luck!

did exactly what you said .. during the update-process the BB restarts itself and then again: app error 200
the downgrade to OS 7.0.0.2406 is no Problem. on this Version the bold works fine. only the battery is emty after 8hrs standby ...

Reboots itself? That's strange... Did you try with the battery out? The process isn't very different but it's worth a shot:
