I can never seem to decide between iPhone and BB, so I'm using a 3G S right now, and figured I'd pick up a BB (sold my Bold in March) again and just keep both from now on....

I'll fight my BB itch until the Onyx drops and pick that up. Probably paying full price (ouch I'm sure).
I know the feeling. I'm waiting on the Driftwood and i'm sure that will be a pretty penny paying full price but I'm not due for an upgrade until June and I CANNOT wait that long.

The camera on the Onyx is very good.
You know, up until I had the Bold...I never paid much attention to a phones camera. But, I find more and more times I'd like to use it now...except that the Bold camera is pretty lousy!!

Faster processor, more memory, better screen, trackpad...and better camera?

Looks like my next BlackBerry will be the Onyx/Merlin 9700 when it hits AT&T.

If u already have the Bold just wait it out. Alot of ppl knock the leather back of the Onyx, with some tweaking it would be really nice. The current one is a bit oogly.

it all really comes down to the trackpad as thats what would set it apart from all other devices...

if the trackpad operates well and doesnt have alot of problems that cost the consumer money to repair or doesnt hamper useage (ex. a trackball getting stuck) then it will be worth every penny
