I really want the onyx but I was leaning toward the my touch because I like the touchscreen. However I like the keyboard in the blackberry. And from the rumors I am hearing this device is going to be awesome.

The Mytouch 3G is the american version for the HTC Magic here in the Uk...i have one and the touchscreen is good...very iphone-esque ie very responsive and a joy to use BUT and its a big but...if your looking to do alot of texting or emailing, which its also great for then id recommend the BB...the touchscreen is great but i find it a royal pain in the *** to text on...thats why i have my BB Bold which is just simply awesome for emailing and texting.
Dont get me wrong i love my Magic aka My Touch 3G but for me its just an entertainment device...i have lots of games on it that i play so keeps me amused and Android is really something else...the amount of apps is mind boggling but for me its just an entertainment device...i dont use it for texting or emailing...its also pretty good at making calls:p.
Communication wise its still the BB by a very long way.
Bear in mind that if you pick up the Onyx and unlock it, it will not have 3G on TMO like the Mytouch would. However, it is said that the Driftwood will be coming to TMO as their first 3G BlackBerry.
I have the Rogers HTC Magic currently (which works on AT&T 3G), I used it for a bit before going back to my Blackberry Bold. I miss the keyboard. So going to sell the Magic.
The Magic was alright especially with the Hero ROM on it but I found that the build quality was subpar, and that the touch screen wasn't as responsive as the iPhones (especially when swiping). Due to those reasons I ended up returning it. As far as Android. It was an absolute joy to use and the freedom you have on it, especially after rooting it made it fun to tinker with. If the HTC had better build quality and a better made screen I would have definitely kept it. SE is coming out with an Android device themselves later this year and it'll have the new Qualcomm SnapDragon proc which is clocked to 1GHz, 8MP camera, as well as a 3.5mm jack - safe to say when that comes out ill definitely be an Android user once again.
