I been with them since the begining I never switched carriers and I think you're right I have 2 upgrades( additional lines) aside from my primary number ( already upgraded that to the HTC Thunderbolt) and I was going to cancel one line and the let my mom use the upgrade on the other but she doesn't want a new phone she is happy with her razr so I will save that upgrade for myself in the future.

I am going to buy it outright and save my upgrade because I might decide I want the 9850 later instead. Also while the contract price is likely to get a discount soon, the full retail price will not. So in that regard buying early does not cost me.

See that is what I was thinking, maybe getting the 9850 later also and or keeping the upgrade for the QNX device. I am going to be thinking about this all day

Yeah there's various ways of looking at it. Only question with QNX is when, but it is certain to be before anyone's newly renewed contract is up.

One thing to consider as well. The retail for the 9900 devices is what.. $509, on VZW? If the QNX devices are truly high end they might sell for retail up in the $649 or $749 range like the iPhone. I doubt it. But that is possible.

Are you sure about this? From what I know not many Verizon Wireless employees are union like the land line workers that are on strike.

oh okay, happy for you all. I am on att with my main line and have one coming from Canada that was in San Fransico as of last wed USPS tracking . Didnt know the big V was going to bring it so early. Price i paid i could have ported paid ETf and got one on contract lol. Oh well
