I often jump from BlackBerry to BlackBerry (9000, 9700, 9800, 9650) .. And today I finally activated an unlocked 9650 I've had for a while with my AT&T data services, so that it's finally useful. However, when it came time to finally set everything up the way I have it with other BlackBerries I own, I painfully realized that I could not download the GMAIL app any more. I do prefer the GMAIL app over the native email folders, just a personal preference. I didn't even know that they were doing away with that app - of all days, today. Bahumbug.
Works perfectly on my 9810!! Out of curiosity, what was the latest version of this app?
Please keep the link alive. I can see many people making use of it. I need it as I do not want full Gmail integration of the other half's gmail into my BB.

If my memory is accurate, the old download page reported the latest version as 2.0.6 but would load 2.0.7. Weird Google stuff.
Glad this is helpful. I agree with you about the likely demand, and I intend to keep the link live.
I sent the jad file to my bbm, but it's just a link to download the gmail app... click the link & gives me an error "907 Invalid COD File not Found" ... am I doing something wrong? Or did google remove the source at the other end...
Sorry if dumb question - but could someone walk me through installation
