Other than carrying my BB9900 around when out n about, is it ok to leave (while at home) my BB9900 on the charging pod all the time? Will it overcharge or is there something built into the charging pod that prevents overcharging?

The battery/system itself won't allow any damage. Your device will just remain topped up at 100%. When I was using the 9900, I had 4 or 5 of those charge pods. Whenever I was sitting near one for any legnth of time, I'd drop it in the charger.

    You have no worries.

I am not so sure about that. I've lost two Bold 9900 after an overnight charging. The motherboard melted. If you search in the Web you will find some reports. Look for "red light blinking" or "9900 dead" etc. My Z10 I charge overnight without any fear but Bold I also use I prefer charging it for just a couple of hours. Sorry but that's my experience
