The embedded IT Policy like the one in leaked .402 is back again in .428

You can't remove it without downgrading to .391 or below.

Does the IT policy cause any problems? I assumed it was there to enable the parental controls and was harmless if you didn't use parental controls.

Was the screen capture from your phone? My Rogers phone only has Band 1 in common. I didn't think our phones were that different from the UK phones.

I think you're correct about the Parental Controls option and the IT Policy, because it wasn't about before this. I presume it's harmless, but I just don't like it being there.

Yes, the capture was from my phone. Vodafone UK have recently been supplying BB's with bands 1, 4 & 8 similar to the TMO US ones. As we only use 3G band 1 over here, it doesn't make any difference now.

No, .391 doesn't have Parental Controls. It's under the Security settings...

Therefore I will not upgrade , BT started to sync again ,did not work with .342 neither .402...even with COD's swap..and I wouldn't like to go back to the cord...

So from reading the posts in this thread, the upgrade is pretty much useless. I'm sticking to .402 for now. Thanks for the effort, OT.

Useless? Where did you glean that from?

.402 is garbage, and will never make it to official status.

This OS really sucks for me. Email setup takes ages to reach my emails, it just hangs, BlackBerry Protect is having so much trouble reaching the Protect Service, I can't even load certain webpages like blackberry.com/bbm and stuff, dunno if it's just temporary or not. BeWeather hangs at "Updating" the weather. Not sure what's wrong with this build it was never this bad in the previous ones.
