Hi, I'm from Singapore. Is it okay with i download the new OS and use it on my bb? Cause i'm not sure whether my local service provider supports it? Will any problems occur? Can enlighten me on the process too? Thanks!

There won't be any new features in this late stage of OS6 development. Just minor bug fixes, and possible updated versions of core apps.

In case anyone needs it: How to install using App Loader:

    Download OS to PC.
Following download, run OS file to install OS on PC. Follow on screen directions.
On BB, go to BBM Options, scroll down to Backup section. Ensure Remote Backup is enabled and also conduct a Local Backup to media card.
Connect BB to PC. Open Desktop Manager and backup device. Close DM.
    On PC, go to
    (64): Computer/C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader and delete Vendor file.
    (32): Computer/C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader and delete Vendor file.
You can run BB Boss or Shrink-A-OS/BBHybrids Tool to shrink the OS and remove unwanted files/apps.
Run AppLoader (Research in Motion/AppLoader) to initiate OS upgrade. Follow onscreen instructions. Be sure to have PC plugged in to power source. Do not interrupt install process. Wait until BB restarts completely.
Power up your BB and ensure that your apps are working. You may need to upgrade some apps (particularly BBM, as some OS versions contain old BBM versions).

Running .650. Downloaded and installed .666 on the PC. Deleted vendor file, etc. but it won't recognize new software. Tried Apploader and BB Desktop. According to Desktop, I have Software Version 6.0 Bundle 2858.

Never had a problem updating the OS before till now.

    Any thoughts?

Just in the process now. Had to go out to vote in advance poll for our provincial election, so it slowed down the process for me I'll let you know what I think when I have it up and running. Of course, it will take a couple days for the full impression.

Yep. You have to delete the vendor file for it to work with your carrier. See my post above.
