Guys, what about Battery Life,,, anyone tested this already?
If everything runs faster (esp. pics loading speed) I wouldn't mind losing the 2g 3g switcher. the "task manager" thing is a bit of a loss but atl-esc works just as well so i can handle that. however if anyone hear knows how to debrand a bold I'm all ears :3
my battery life with .291 has been great..yes better than .282
I think its pretty good so far , have not had any problems to speak of
Pics load fast
3G is good
runs fine ...
:)
how about the GPS lock ?
:( this OS still doesn't work with my Tomtom go 930 wireless data although the older os's did.
since the new os doesnt have the 2g/3g switch, this new os can sod off for all i care.
I don't see much difference between .282 i had before and .291 now.
- No changing from 2G and 3G ( i don't use it anyways so it does not affect me)
- Slight overall faster performance then .282. Pictures, videos and other programs do noticeably load faster.
There isn't much change in this version except the things i listed.
Running It now.
Quite improvement from .282 If you ask me. Pictures load faster and everything else feels snappier !
Gonna keep it. :)
I see it in mine
Just got another bold, got a lot of os updateing to do.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
after reading through all this I dont see any reason to upgrade from .282 oh well...now if my bold only had some battery life!! jeez:(:(
I just got a Bold but I don't know what my OS is? it says v4.6.0.167 (Platform 4.0.0.157)
which one is it?
well why dont u try .291 cuz my battery life on .282 sucked..now its alot better with .291
.167 denotes the OS.
I had a similar prob. What I did what to format the phone/device memory and memory card after hooking the phone up to the pc via the usb cable.
your 100% right, its a hybrid T-Mobile UK created
so some people see the mobile network switcher and some dont, is it there or is it gone???
you can always tell by the file name, 9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel438_PL4.0.0.217_A4.6.0.167_AT_am p_T.exe
