So, my blackberry 9700 flopped. JVM error 545. I know how to fix it, but I seem to have lost my usb -> blackberry cable. I'm so lost without my blackberry, it has my work schedule on it, important meetings, everything really. I'm frantically running around the house looking for that cable.

I wish it was that simple. I have so many boxes of electronics, it could be in anyone. Or back in the old apartment still...

Do you know if you can buy these cables at a Best Buy or something?

Wal-Mart has a multi-tip, retractable cable that includes the micro-USB and a mini-USB as well as some of the other standard tips.

It works great with my 9700, as well as my Archos, My Mp3 Player, and my Camera.

    They are $15 in store.

    Glad ya found it!

As for why it was there... I've found that, when things turn up in strange places and I don't remember why, the explanation usually involved alcohol or prescription pain pills!

I think it was the result of trying to clean quickly. Kinda just through a whole bunch of stuff in the compartment under my bed.

New issue, trying to fix the problem, I had to install the desktop manager, plugged my phone in, and because my phone bricks before it loads up, the manager doesn't notice my phone. And the first boot up of the manager says "Before you begin, verify that your current BlackBerry device is connected to your computer."

    Sigh...

Got into the phone to install the OS. But I reach the final step and it asks me to click the finish button, but there is no finish button!

    Edit:
