I was thinking that the 9900 screen was looking pretty good until another poster told me that BB10 has a "reader mode".

Is there a App for the 9900 that gives "reader mode" ... probably not. One more nail in the coffin for my 9900.

You can use the BlackBerry News app for legacy BlackBerry OS devices such as the BlackBerry 9900 to read articles from RSS feeds in a style similar to the Reader Mode. There may be other apps in BlackBerry World to provide a similar workaround for other content.

However, the Browser app on BlackBerry 7.x devices does not have a Reader Mode itself.

Nope, no nail in the coffin at all. Zooming in on the text you want to read is what I recommend, or adjusting the font size and turning off images works best, since it just shows the text and that's all you need to see right?
