Neither will Verizon. It's a moot point though. Expecting to tether of any sort for free on the major US carriers is a pipe dream.
who cares....a free hotspot would be like cable offering from wi fi to your house. it's well worth paying for some people.
I just wonder how many more threads will be started about the hot spot. This poor horse has been beaten just as much as the auto focus camera has. I remember using mobile AP on my android and it was a life saver. The bold has been officially released for a day and anarchy is about to spread on a couple missing factors. I am sure that this device will be around for a very long time and plenty of leaked/official/ghetto OS7 versions will be released. All will be well in the kindgom of the 9900. As soon as an update comes from one carrier, everybody will leech off of it and rejoice. **** I would be happy just to own this device but that doesn't look possible until Sep/Nov. My mother taught me this:
You get what you get, so don't throw a fit. If the hotspot is a deal break PLEASE put that bad boy in the box and mail it to me.
Why share your connection with strangers?

I have a Hot-Spot on my phone (not the bold) - besides draining my battery in record time - there is no benefit - i then have to plug it in to charge it - i might as well attach the cable to my laptop, charge and surf..... i dread using it when I have to cause of the Battery issue............
