So Im running the latest os with the 9700 with wind mobile. I know that bb maps is installed and have tried countless of "fixes" but my bb maps does not appear?

Any Ideas??

Are you getting an error... can't you find the icon... what is the issue???

If you're on AT&T, they don't allow for the BB Maps to be used independently and they hide the BB Maps icon. Some people have had success by using 3rd party themes as a workaround, but I was not that lucky. I could access BB Maps from within apps like Poynt and Weatherbug, but not independently. I've since deleted it and use Google Maps exclusively.

Do u have a data plan activated? I had bought factory unlocked 9700 & there was no bb maps icon in my handset. Although I could see it in list of applications.

After a week when my BIS data plan was active, the maps icon was visible.
