I just noticed that Optus Mobile is listing the Blackberry Bold Operating system download through the blackberry site. I am not sure if anyone noticed this before, this information was also on berryreview and my buddy told me about it. So I take no credit for it

Yes it is. I guess from what I am hearing this OS is already out and I guess an update is suppose to come out, but this seems to be the first one that is actually on the Blackberry Website.

I found the software downloads page for all the carriers on bb.com and found the optus link. I don't know what link VX1 takes you to...

People are going to have to upgrade as soon as they get this device. This build, as you know Mobi, is old and has a few problems.

Hong Kong is loving RIM.

The crazy thing is.. Optus Mobile Pty. Ltd. is an Australian carrier that's mainly owned by Singtel in Singapore, yet the Bold has not been release in Australia or Singapore. Why they have the software for download first is rather strange.

After having the Blackberry bold for over 2 months, I decided that it was time to upgrade the software on the device. I have one of the Beta BB9000 with beta written all over it. I downloaded this new firmware and tried to install it on my bb. I backed up everything and I thought everything was going fine. Suddenly I have a screen says "blackberry unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load operation". Now my blackberry bold is going through an endless rebooting loop. I have tried almost everything to get my bold to work again but now I am just stuck and dont know what to do anymore. I have tried to connect my computer using the JL_Cmder and nothing works. I dont know what else I can do. I completely hate myself now for trying this upgrade.
