Got my 9650 today. Hooked it up to my Windows 7 Pro 64x and used Desktop manager 5.0.1 to sync it with Outlook. All worked fine.

I went to move some pictures onto the phone, but it wasn't listed as a removable device so I could access the memory card.

I have turned off the MTB, and set up the memory settings to support mass storage,

Compression yes (tried no as well)
    Media Card Support = On
    MTB = Off
    Mass Storage Mode = On
Auto Enable Mass Storage = Prompt (tried yes as well)

Rebooted the phone and the laptop.......... I still cannot get Windows to let me see the memory card as a storage device to move songs/pictures to it.

    Anyone have a solution?

    Thanks

Try: Disabled, On, On, On, and Yes, respectively.

The driver for ur phone might be missing. Go into device manager and see if there are caution symbols by the bold.

for someone who doesnt know how to get to device manager :

click start or the round windows symbol in the bottom left.
right click on computer and click manage.
choose device manager from the list on the right.
    Find your phone.

    I'm betting it's the drivers.

so there is a yellow indicator there, good call. Let me see where I can find the latest drivers from. I'll report back for anyone else who has this issue.

I uninstalled DM again, reinstalled it, then downloaded the newest drivers from Verizon 9650 | New Verizon Wireless Phones

After that, DM updated several files on the device and it works now. Thank you all for the input.
