Hi all...total blackberry newbie here. I just got my new bold 9650 about a week ago. In my device email it tells me I have a blackberry world update available. All the other emails are marked with yellow envelope...this one is marked with a black dot? Everytime I even just LOOK at the update it stops everything and freezes up my phone?? I dont know if I should update because of this. Odd? or typical for a blackberry world update? Just afraid to do anything that might slow down the phone which has been running perfectly fine. I deleted the email yesterday and of course it came right back again today. Is it really necessary to update blackberry world?? Thanks...

It is not nessesary but i would do it anyways.

    try going to blackberry.com/appworld
It will override appworld and build a new one, reinstall, reboot and i THINK they will add carrier billiong sometime.

Yes. but if you have a 9650 can't you just connect with wifi?
If you want, you can download the JAD then load it on your memory card.

then you can install from your media explorer.

orrr.. you can just install it with Desktop manager.

The majority of the time you have an issue with your BlackBerry, a battery pull will fix the issue.

Glad it's working for you now.
