Looking on the pictures my first natural reaction was only to ask where the heck I could get it, you know so I missed it. My bad.

Back to the question. Is the black paint easily scratched off? How's the build quality?
No, the paint is not easily scratched, and the build quality is awesome.

if you bought a top cover from truesupplier you will notice that there is a plastic bubble at the top that prevents the cover to sit properly.. you have to shave it off..

if you look at the OEM top cover it had this plastic bubble and it was shaved off..

so if u decide to change your top cover remember to shave that plastic bubble

Looks good. Is that the gloss black finish? Mines is flat black:

For anyone having trouble getting the top piece off the original chrome/silver bezel, it's not that difficult. It's more of a gutsy thing to do. All you need to do is detach/pry it off at the melted points because the original top piece is melted on to the original bezel. They're melted on at about maybe 8 points. I took the top piece off the original bezel starting from the sides (not middle). You'll feel like you're gonna tear everything apart and break everything but a little strength is necessary to take it off. And a little risk of course. I had a moto phone for back up if my berry was gonna be out of commission so i took the chance of taking the top piece off the original cover.

Yes, there is a small white warranty sticker under the bottom plate just below the [ALT] key, but if careful; you can remove it with precision tweezers and then reapply it afterward as I did.
Looks great, nice clean look! I need steadier hands to do something like this.

if i was to buy this bezel with a top cover would i not have to detach the original top cover from the original bezel thus avoiding the whole melted on situation?

Where did you get your screen protector from? I'm looking for one but I don't want to waste my money on a bunch of crap before I find a good one. Thanks!

I got my black bezel and top cover today, just a couple questions.
Do I need the sticky foam transferred over from the OEM top cover?
And on my OEM top cover I see a metal mesh over the ear speaker, do I need to transfer that some how? I don't want to use my OEM top cover but it seems that I need to transfer some stuff to make it work.

Also, whats the difference between using the OEM top cover and the new one shipped with the bezel?

I ordered this Byul Blackberry Bold 9700 9020 Onyx bezel faceplate cover W/ bottom cover+Top cover (Matte black) :: 9700/9020 Onyx :: Blackberry :: Housing/Faceplate :: Truesupplier - Blackberry Accessories & PDA Accessories wholesale Co.
But the top cover does not come attached, we need to attach it. I'm just wondering is their any reason to attach the OEM top cover rather than the new one.
