I am getting my first BB Bold this Friday from AT&T. Upon receiving it, I plan to refresh the OS from BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.438 (Multilanguage), Applications: 4.6.0.167, Software Platform: 4.0.0.217 to BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.438 (EastAsia), Applications: 4.6.0.167, Software Platform: 4.0.0.217. Because I want to be able to view Chinese characters and use PinYin to input Chinese characters. The EastAsia version of the OS can be downloaded BB vendor specific site.
Anything special I need to pay attention? Under DM, I assume I don't have to backup any data or 3rd party s/w given the device is brand new one.
