hey guys
i dont have a 9900 but im thinking to buy one, and i've read that many people have a problem with the trackpad when it is exposed to sunlight
is this problem fixed with the latest os 7.1?

I had a 9900 last year and I had no issue with the trackpad when in sunlight.

if you wrote 9900 sunlight problem, you'ill find not one or two who have this problem, many...
anyways thanx man for replying, i'm still stuck between 9900 and q5, the 9900 can give me what i want, just i'm afraid of this problem, what do you think ?

i'm confused, so u used the 9900 outside in direct sunlight and there is no problem ?

I've seen this problem with 1 x 9900, compared to 8 x 9900 that didn't have the problem. Not sure what you do or how your planning on using your phone.

We work and use our phones outside 80% of the time, so the problem was noticed, other than that I don't think it would have mattered.

I have used my old Bold 9900 inside most of the time but when I did used outside I didn't notice this problem with the trackpad even in direct sunlight, that doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist.

The Q5 is most likely the better choice unless there is some compelling reason to choose the 9900. I personally did not have that issue with my 9900, although as mentioned before some people did have the issue.

I highly recommend the Q5. I am using a red one and I have had no problems and am enjoying the experience. If you prefer the Bold keyboard vs the Curve keyboard though, you may want to consider the Q10. The Q5 has the clicky keyboard that the Curve had.

The 9900 that I use has no problem. The device was well made and truly looks and acts the part of a high end device. If you are interested in a new experience in mobile computing and like the idea of more screen real estate go for the Z30 even the Z10.is a steal at present pricing.
