    Hey Guys,

I'm running 4.6.0282 right now, but I have always had this problem. I always have a slight echo of myself talking... Anyone else have this problem/know of a work around?

I've had that problem from time to time. No matter the phone. No matter the OS.

Might just be the way you are holding the phone. How does it sound with the headphones/mic that came with it?

bt224, never tried it with headphones on actually... I'll give that a shot though. What is the box with the 3 periods in it that comes up when I call people now? I swear since I went from the stock Bold OS to 282 people on the other end sound 20x better.

It's Enhanced Handset Audio. It can be adjusted from the Options>General Options in the phone menu.

Ah, nice that I never had that on before.

I'm on my phone ALL day - to the point that people ask if the "little red light is going to burn out"... Does this make any effect on on battery? Damn thing dies twice a day.

bt224, I can't seem to find it under my options menu -- I don't have General Options, any ideas where else it might be?

You need to be on the phone screen, then go to options.
