After my blackberry loads completely it has the rogers symbol that shows up after it loads the OS. The screen then fades to completely white. There is nothing on the screen and the backlight is white and never turns off. I tried battery pull number of times. This usually occurs after I start listening to internet radio. It gets fixed when I plug it into my computer last time but Im at work right now and this thing is getting annoying because I can't use my phone.

mine just did this.. but cuz it was out of battery.... let it run without the battery for a couple of minutes then put the battery back in....

what program are you using for the internet radio and was OS?

nah thats not the case with mine. The battery is almost full.

New development tho. The loading completes when I take my sim card out. It is only when I have my sim card in when it fades to white

Of the thousands of posts I've read, I've never heard of anything like this. Have you narrowed it down to what program is running when it goes blank?

I would be taking it back, if that's an option.

Have you considerd reloading your OS or upgrading depending on which one you are currently using. I listen to Pandora all the time on a 9000 and have never had this happen ever no matter how much battery power was available.

my phone started to get slow and hang a few times over the last few days. Now i boot it up and it just fades to white... sometimes it says an error. *i can't remember what it said right now.* All it does is give me the option to restart. I have been removing all apps that I have put in recently, but have not found 'the one'.
-also on rogers
-Bold 9000 *2 years old, almost*
-sync with google calendars
-not used with any server software
-other apps on the phone:
vlingo *best app ever*
viigo
google sync
google maps
3 gps programs *none that run in background*
bell's cowbell *olympic app*
*can't complete list, since i can't get the phone to open the menu right now*

I have tried:
updated to latest BB software. *as i always do*
removed most of the apps from the phone
left the phone without the battery in it for about 6 hrs
*numerous battery pulls*
removed some apps with blackberry desktop software
turned off wifi / bluetooth

next things to try:
through against solid wall. if that does not work, through again.

any help would be great.
