    I think I need help.
    My 9900 will not power up. I bought a new battery thinking that would help..but it did not.
    I have a black screen that shows a battery with a red X through it.
    Is this the black screen of death?

    Plug it in to charge for a half hour and then check. The battery may be really dead.

    Thanks. I tried that with no change. It had been acting unstable the last few days. I'm hoping I don't have to replace it.
