In case you do not get an answer, I would suggest making your very own Playlist in iTunes, and only sync that one to your phone. If your brother doesn't want that to appear, he can uncheck it to not be synced to his iPod, although it takes up zero memory on the iPod.

Ok, I'll try that in the mean time.
Anyone else know the app I'm speaking of though?

Hello all with Media Sync / Blackberry Bold problems! I have Windows Vista on my Dell Insprion, and I've had the same problem, and finally got all my music and pics transferred over. Media Sync doesn't seem to work with the Bold, but Media Manager does just fine. If you are trying to download iTunes items to the Bold, you have to convert them from an MP4 file to an MP3 file, which must be done with a different software program. I finally found one that works great, and it was only $27. The 'free' converters I found online always seemed to have a problem or a glitch or recorded their company name into the song. I'm sure there are free software converters that work fine. I just couldn't get any of them to work and it was worth the $27 to avoid the headaches and finally get my music and pics converted over. Once I got all the music converted to MP3 files, all of them copied over just fine by drag and drop, copy and paste. I don't know why the Media Sync won't work with the Bold. It sure would have helped me out if it would, but I never could get it to connect, even though all the other software I was using communicated with my Bold just fine. Don't get too discouraged. It can be done. It just takes some time. Let me know if you have any questions. This was really frustrating to me, and I'm glad I got it figured out. The software I used is the AllMusic Converter. Once I got my audio files converted to MP3 files, the Bold sucked them right in with no problem. Good luck!
