    Ok, so I have had my Bold 9700 for about a month now....and i've got issues!
    First...when i try to "Delete prior" in SMS...the screen freezes with the little black box that says "DELETING"....if it unfreezes on its own i get a meesage that reads "unhandled exception". But most of the time it doesnt unfreeze and i have to pull the battery.
    Second....i am unable to zoom when using the camera. You can run your finger up and down the trackpad til youre blue in the face...it wont zoom!
    Third...I am not receiving all of my SMS messages....I have people telling me they are sending messages, yet i dont received them. So I sat side by side with another Blackberry owner as she sent me a few SMS...I only received 6 out of 10 that she sent.
    This is my second Blackberry...My first being a Curve 8900.....I NEVER had ANY issues of any kind with the Curve. If only it had a track pad....i would have stuck with the Curve!! My only reason for upgrading to the Bold was the trackpad...and Im beginning to regret my switch!
    All of the problems mentioned above have also been noted on my roommares Bold 9700 for AT&T (ive got T-mobile)...and a co-worker reports the same issues on her Bold 9700 with t-mobile...
    All software updates, that im aware of, have been done....not really sure what else could be causing these problems besides a possible issue with the phone(s) themselves....
    Any ideas????????? I'm going nuts trying to figure it out!!!

    Don't think I can answer every question, but I'll start with the First... sounds like something is corrupt in the SMS database... open DM > Backup/Restore > Advanced > select the SMS Messages database, click the Clear button... this will clear the entire database... not sure, but this might also solve your third issue.

    Second issue... what OS version are you currently running??? It might be a good idea to upgrade your OS... but I'd need to know what OS version you are running right now.

    Man wish I could help, but I have had zero issues with mine through T-mobile, hardware or software. Been strong 4 months now.

    Not sure whether to post this in here, but I am frantic, so I will just go ahead. The external speaker on my Bold II just stopped working randomly, and I have no idea what to do. It's less than two months old, bought on ebay, I live in Barbados right now so returning will be bloody expensive. In a word...HELP?!
