So, we have some 9380 curves. Currently battery life approx 5hrs. These are shocking.
So looking at the Mugen 1500 but for 30 not worth it according to the reviews.

What about the seidio momax x 1400. What is required to get it to work?

Will either battery fit in the 9380?

I wish I knew about this earlier... I'm getting a Q10 next month so this battery won't be useful to me.

Besides, I already have a spare battery that I bought from the CrackBerry Shop

Thank you for this thread. I was going to buy the Seidio 3000mAh battery. Lucky it was OOS. Then I ran across the Mugen 3600mAh and found the 1500mAh, which leads me over to this thread. I bought the Mugen 1500mAh. Best thing is that it fits the battery cover.

There is still trickle charge with the 9900 after the little plug appears in the battery icon, here is a screenshot of the battery charging screen :

    It doesn't trickle.

It stops when the battery is full and when the battery drops to a preset level, the charger resumes charging until it is full again.

Not so cool. As someone said is not a 2430mah battery... it lasts like the orginal more or less.

It is the second battery I buy for the 9900... first one was a "1500mah" but not the Mugen one.

I bought this two batteries because of the prices, but sometimes cheaper things are expensive!

I'm thinking of buying this REAL 1500mah from Mugen right now.

So my recomendation, do not buy the 2430mah GOLD Battery. I have done all the instructions that they said, like wasting all the battery first, then charge it for 12 hours and then when it was nearly to the end charge it again for 6 hours. Results are not what I was expecting.

    Cheers from Barcelona! ;-)
This sounds quite like my experience with this battery bought from Amazon.co.uk:
Swees 2650mAh High Capacity Battery for Blackberry: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

It purports to be 2,650mAh, but I'm finding the battery life pretty much the same as the stock battery. Fortunately with current software and battery-saving mode switched on, that is generally acceptable - and it only cost 7 quid (GB) for a spare battery I wanted anyway, so I'm not that fussed.

Sounds as though the only way to get a major boost to battery life is to go for the fat Seido?

    Cheers

Sorry but it does trickle, with 225 mA, you can look at this screen for hours. It does not stop , this is definitly a trickle charge happening on my 9900.

JM1 from Mugen will only fit/work in 9900/9930/9860/9950 handsets.

Worth every pound, top quality and security!
