I am a Blackberry Novice. I was charged by my parents to help transition from a Curve 9330 to a Bold 9900. I used the Blackberry Desktop Software to transfer the data from the Curve to the Bold, but the email account that is used for business emails is out of date. I don't know if BES or BIS is used. When i try to reconcile the email, it is empty. There is a Blackberry ID but it is different than the one that was on the Curve because no one can remember what it is. I need assistance if anyone can help.

    Hi and welcome to CB!
Now let's see here. You have a 9900 and want to set up the email. If you have a business server its BES. If its a personal phone and accounts, probably BIS. First figure that. If it's BIS, you can go to your service provider's BIS site and set up the email with the new BBID.
Then your email should be fine.

Keep posting and someone will take it from here to help you!!
