Don't know, using .656 still, great build, haven't had any problems with it (which is why I'm still with it)

    +1 for .656

Don't know exactly what it was with .680 and .743 but I just couldn't get on with them. Downgraded back to .656 and all is good in the hood again.

The BlackBerry Attachment Service hasn't been available in any OS 5.0 build. I believe it's now a built-in part of the BIS service, so try resending your service books.

Using .656 and it works perfect and battry life is excellent. Have an htc hd2 and as much as I use my phone the battery last 4 hours, on my bold I can go for 2 days without charging and I'm always on wifi and I text about 800 texts per day. No probs with this OS

296 (AT&T ) has been the best for battery and its stable.

I've tried about 10 others and this works for me.

"Best" is totally subjective and will only result in individual opinions. The BEST OS
is the one that works, has no battery issues, no lag based on YOUR own personal
observations. Don't let anyone tell you that one OS is the best for all devices.

We have all seen two identical devices running the same OS and device A will be
trouble free while device B will be a total mess.

Right now, I'm using 743, and no problem. The battery is normal as before.

i can't believe you guys have not have battery drained like me....with .743 it is stable that is true. but at the cost of absolutely having to re-charge every night....ehh

.656 sounds pretty good on batter life.

i guess i'll just have to try different ones.

    thanks everyone!

I'm on .743 and that has been the most stable so far. Don't know about others but my battery has been pretty good as well. Surprised that folks experience with these OS's seem to be all over the place.

Maybe a UK thing but 656 is far better for battery than 680 or 743
