I just called to find out if they had an update about the unlocked 9900 AT&T version and they said they get them about 2 weeks after AT&T starts selling them, there goes that option

If its unlocked then its unbranded and there should be no correlation with ATT release. Negri just told me they are expecting the 850/1900 unlocked 9900's next week. Those are the ATT 3G versions.

If you don't want to wait, a Rogers 9900 is going to be your best option.

Spoke to a rep from GSMNation said unlocked 9900's will arrive at their New Haven, CT location in the 3rd week of Aug... (possibly next week?)
