Yes memory leak is an issue. Search this forum for 'memory leak' and it is apparent.

You can manage that by 'shrinking' your OS prior to install to free up some much needed space.

When I loaded 534, memory and battery were awful. 480 solved all my problems.

I've been using .534 for about 3 days now and the memory leak is very minimal in this version. I start off with 112MB and right now I'm at 104MB. Powered my phone on around 9 this morning and it's 7 here right now. Battery life is very poor in this build compared to .862 (OS 5). I really like OS 6 though. Ya just gotta shrink it. It's to bad that we have to optimize these OS's to run efficiently on our devices.

When I do a reboot I start with 47xxxxxx & my memory goes down to as low as 5xxxxx and I have to do battery pull more than once a day. I love my bb and OS 6 but its so annoying to keep getting the hour glass in the middle of the screen.

So OS 6.0.0.534 is a good OS but you reccommend shrinking the OS with BB Boss before installing the OS onto BB?

Use BB Boss and shrink away. Wont solve your battery problem with 534 though. Try 480.

I'm currently using 9700/6.0.0.461 where can I find .480 at? And should I shrink before I install OS on bb or once the OS is installed on my bb?

Shrink the OS on your PC then install and .546 was released today if you want to try that!

add me to the list of memory leakage... one day it will have 6mb left.. then it will be 20mb..

I've checked and added up all that I have on there and I should have a minimum of 100mb left. I wish there was a way you could store apps on your memory card.
