Two other threads I found. I suggest like I did in those threads, to format the card using your computer, or using the Parted magic live CD, or GParted Live CD. If it doesn't work, then if your device is still under warranty, you'll need to get it repaired via the warranty, if the warranty is void, you'll need to go to a repair shop.

Brian. You can't repair a memory card!!!! Get it replaced if under warranty. If not, chuck it away and buy a new one. To be really certain it's faulty, try formatting/using it in a laptop card slot.

try to use another memory card on that device.. if it will work then it's a broken card you are using. if not try to reinstall the OS.

He's already tried the card in another device so what's the point in that.

Repairing at home is a risky thing since you'll be the final reeper of the device if you manage to damage something especially if you don't know what you're doing. Go to a repair shop, or if it's under warranty, go to your carrier for a replacement.
