Hi, i just got a blackberry bold 9000 and the phone is great however i have the blackberry desktop manager for mac (latest version) and when i plug in the device it says that i need to turn on the mass storage mode support, which i have done, yet it still pops up and says that i havent and am therefore unable to sync my songs and movies

To take you through what i did

    options>memory>media card support>on
    >encryption mode>none
    >mass storage mode support>on
    >auto enable mass storage mode when connected>on

This is exactly what all these tutuorials have been telling me to do and i would have contacted blackberry but they make it bloody hard to do so, so if it wouldnt be too much of a problem to give me some help on this issue and by the way this site is fantastic,

    thanks

so after hours on the phone to vodafone, and wiping and restoring the phone, it turns out that software 4.6 needs to be updated to 5 and surely enough when i tried it on my 9700 it worked like a charm
