I really like the way I can manage my BB files and folders through the regular Windows Explorer.
But my BB folder only shows up in explorer after I've launched Media Manager, which takes ages to initialize.

Other phones I've had, I just plugged them in and voila, device and mediacard would simply show up in explorer.

Is there any way to do this with my Bold? I don't want to go through all this new software checking and sh*t like that just to copy some files.

Check that you have mass storage mode enabled or at least set to prompt. That way when you connect via USB you'll be able to enter your phone's password and then the folders will show up in Windows Explorer.

Btw, this makes me wonder, why would anyone want to use this Media Manager application?
