When I go to download new apps it keeps saying memory is low and only 10kb left out of 128 kb.
I added an 8gb sd card but how do I get more memory to that specific area. Or do I need to do something
    Else to fix the problem.

    Thanks. Mike

Application memory is not data storage. You either have a bad memory leak or too many applications installed. Try a battery pull as that should free up some memory. Also, be sure to delete any old text messages and e-mails as they take up memory as well.

    +1

Also delete any apps or themes that you're not using much. Delete old messages and calender appointments. Make sure any media (pictures/music/video) are saved to the card and NOT to the phone. Search these forums for other tips on increasing your device's memory

Thanks for the fast reply. Phone works perfect and the micro sd is all formated and has my pics on it.
All I have for new apps is Opera, and point. I downloaded a few free ones that I deleted as soon as I tried them.
But even though they are deleted some still appear in the app section were it says I only have 11kb
Left of memory. Just worried that I might not be able to get more apps if it stays that low.

Don't leave Opera running in the background, if you don't need to. It will chew through your memory. Bolt does too. When you are done with them, close them out fully.

Besides that, with only 2 Apps, you should not have memory issues at all.

It doesn't hurt to restart your phone every morning.

Restart............all I do is close my phone theb turn back on in the morning. I would assume this is a restart.
I pulled the battery as suggested and the app memory went from 11 to 38. I still find this low as it says memory is 128
And only having 38 left does not seem right to me. But then again I am new to BB and I might learn more as I go
But so far I love it and can not see myself without it. Now if I can learn more stuff to actually work with on here.

Again new to this forum and I am very pleased with the fast response on my question. Thanks a million to those that has replied

38 mb? 38 kb? (World of difference)

I'm assuming 38 mb which is about right after a battery pull. Remember that the 128 mb you are referring is not only application memory but also the OS memory and the scratch memory. Upper 30s is more than enough to run the phone properly assuming you are closing apps correctly and you do not have any apps that are poorly written and leak memory.

Closing your phone is not the same as a restart (AKA battery pull). Ctrl-Alt-Del, Quickpull, or physically removing the battery will all do a restart.
