I'm using Logicmail for my work exchange server/emails, and the gmail app until I will get my BIS account...

are there any good alternatives for Logicmail ?
I've tried to search the forum but no luck.

Also, I'm pretty satisfied with Instango, minus one little thing that I find it's really disturbing : I see the actual Yahoo ID instead of the names I have for my contacs inthere. (in Beejive it looks just fine ...)

Is there a option for configuring that ? (I could not find it ...)

Before I got BIS I used "Shangmail" its pretty good for those who dont have a data plan or use PAYG... it also gets installed onto the device and becomes part of the native messaging application (so you dont have to open the program to view or send emails - just like regular BB!)

For the record, I just downloaded Logicmail to my BB and ran it, it looks a little out-dated and just like any other mailing prog which does not integrate with native msg app, so I am talking from my own perspective when I say Shangmail looks better!
Do a search for Shangmail.. there are already quite a few posts knockin about...

LE : I've just tried it..and try try try ...it's all i'm left with.
cause it's just not working : what with logicmail worked in 2-3 steps, its taking here minutes adn minutes and nothing happeneds for exchange email. I've tried it for gmail, it configures oki, but it's not getting my emails ...any ideas ??

Other altervatives APPs ? I know there are a frew, a just don't know the names..

have you tried Tiggit Mail? I have didnt particularly like it, but it might work for you...

erm... shangmail should work, did you follow the set by step intrsuctions?

be sure to follow it to the letter, it might look a bit daunting but its pretty easy and works a treat. If you get this one working you'll love it, it integrates with the native email app on the BB as opposed to an app like gmail which is standalone. only problem is that it seems to be between 4-8 minutes behind so not real time push... but once you've used it you'll like it...

I've tried it, this and also another one, flurry email exactly like shangmail.
problem is, that at the stept where the site should send a sms to my phone for account activation ...it just doesn't works ! ..i don't get that sms...

I haven't come across anything lately, but I will keep my ear to the ground and let you know of any findings...

later edit : i've just tried it..but for bold there is no release....so ****yu ..cause it looks pretty nice

relly no other options the logicmail for the BB ? ...there are like hundreds of email clients for other devices but for this bold..nothing !! ...logicmail is ok, but not html support and that is really bad

I would love a app likle the gmail app for all my emails, it looks just perfect...

So far, I have been using LogicMail over wifi without a data plan. Will Shangmail or funambol also allow me to do that? Most of these clients seem to require a data plan, even if it's a non-BB plan.

I have tried Shangmail, however when I try to log in it keeps getting an error. Network Error. I'm not sure what to do here, any ideas?
