Ive wiped the OS with BBSAK but cannot get the new OS to load. I dont have loader.exe anywhere on my pc even after reloading desktop ( there is no RIM in common files). How can i get the OS loaded. Desktop kept erroring saying theres no internet when updating even though it was using it.

What BlackBerry are you using? Also, on Legacy devices, once you have downloaded the correct OS for "your" BlackBerry, you don't need the internet to upgrade. Reboot, go into your files or do a search (through yourPC) to locate the file. Then make sure that you have the right path. Also, initiate a new download- just to see where it stores the file if you can't find it. You can always cancel it. Also, have you tried the latest desktop manager? Its a 9900 with the OS from my providers site (9900jAsia_PBr7.0.0_rel2406_PL5.0.0.734_A7.0.0.585 _Vodafone_New_Zealand).

Seems very much to depend on how you hold you tongue, after numerous attempts, update worked. Serviceable again.
