Hi there,
When I first got my Bold, whenever someone messaged me, or I got a text message a red light would blink at the top notifying that I have a new message. Now that has stopped. How do I get this to start working again? Thanks!

Jees, haha, its in the main screen (the page that comes up when you hit the blackberry button from the home screen). It should have a picture of a Speaker on it. Click the speaker and then click "Advanced" and choose the Profile you would like to adjust e.g. Vibrate, Loud, Normal, etc... Then edit BBM/SMS/MMS/PHONE/EMAIL.

Anyone know of a good free app for the LED indicator for sms, mms and email?

BerryBuzz is free for about a week but it's totally worth buying. It's the first app I've bought and love it. Changes your Indicator for sms, mms, email, facebook, bbm, etc.
