I just got a Telus Bold 9900 and on the bottom left the mental bar with the charging points seems to be bit above what the housing of the phone. Thanks to no competition, now I have to fight with RIM and Telus to get this one DAY old phone replaced.

Before I yell at Telus, I want to know if this is really a defect or may be you guys also have this? Is this may be the mic for the phone?

Can you post a picture?

The bottom should be completely flush with the rest of the unit.

You should have no issues replacing the handset.

Telus shouldn't give u any problems with it

Yeah, that is why I always unbox in store and check for defects, cause ya never know. I don't think Telus will screw around when it comes to replacing your unit.
