Nice one Abrante..., it would be nicer if you could extract all the .912 cods (java only) and post it in the leaked thread. Thanks

I broke down and updated. So far so good. Been running it for the past week or so. No issues but I also didn't really have an issue with the other 7.1 on AT&T. I just like keeping the latest on my phone from my carrier.

Got the update today from my phone via software update. I must admit that I got discouraged because of everyone saying that you will lose the color LED feature if you update but my phone was running sluggish and it seems like the update message came right on time so I took the chance. After running it for the past few hours I have noticed that things are running smoother and it hasn't froze up yet. Usually from normal use it would at least have froze up once or twice for a second or two. More importantly my color LED feature is still here! I don't know if I got lucky or what but I still have the feature plus a smoother running Bold which is a win win. Thanks At&t!

My update showed up this morning from AT&T on my BB 9900....did the update OTA and it took 2 freakin hours!!!! Had to reinstall BBM but once I reinstalled and updated BBM my contacts were there. Had to do numerous battery pulls because my 9900 was pretty hinckey and lagged a lot. All is running smoothly now and my red and green lights are functioning as normal...

Do not know if i should hang in their for 2 hours.
Guess I have to, as cancelling update is no longer an option.
    Any advice?

So far, I am really like this update. Seems very stable, and my battery life has seemed to improve as well.

^^^Hmmmmmm...regarding the battery life, I was thinking just the opposite. But perhaps I've been fiddling with mine more since the update...dunno

Much better than the Hybrid I was using prior to thia release.

If that is your only hang-up then go for it.

Noticing A LOT more red X issues on wifi. Also after it set in I feel like its more of a memory hog than the old 7.1 on AT&T.

    I am running 1997 bundle (7.0.1.694, p 5.1.0.507) on AT&T.

I don't really care about color LED's, it would be nice to have, but my major concern is the BES attachments acting up, and Auto Get More/More All not working time to time, having to reboot.

Before I go up to AT&T's release above, should I consider an earlier version instead?

Why use an AT&T OS at all ?

Give the .923 a try. Just delete the vendor.xml file(s) and load it up.

There were too many negative comments on the .923, freeze up, memory leak, hot battery, etc..
Honestly, the only thing that's wrong with my BB now is the attachment problem, if the new AT&T release fixes it, I will be a happy camper.
I just need to figure out how to shrink it to remove bloat (shrinking instructions are outdated).

Been running .923 with the BL RC15 Hybrid and it has been very good in that format in terms of temparature and Memory Loss.

I have also hear reports that the Telstra .912 is very good and runs cooler than the T Mobile release (different .sfi)

If you shrink with BBH Tools you can't go far wrong, it doesn't let you shrink out anything that will affect the core functionality of the phone without asking you if you are sure that you really want to shrink the item.

I have a problem with this release now, I just upgraded after shrinking it, works great when it does, lightning fast and I have 175MB of free memory while running, however after initial set up and after taking a long time setting up my icons, folders, it froze (menu hold worked to switch but screen was not responding) so upon reboot all icons and customization was gone! Back to stock icon layout. This is really disappointing! Why would it do this??
Did I shrink it too much? Here is my screenshot:

the update final showed up ota for me. Working great, phone is working a lot better. Keeping the lower build of BBM, heard 7.1 BBM slows down the 9900 which seemed to be the case before the upgrade.
