No, you can't... there are no, and never will be any OS5 builds for the 9780.

Not noticed any difference in quality here, Diego.

Okay..does anybody have problem trying to next a song or get volume up or down when not in the media folder? Can't even stop it using standby button as well. Any solution? So used to next n stop by pressing the standby button only..
Simple answer... no, it all works as it should.

There is no standby button on a 9780.
The top left Lock button just locks the keypad, and has no use for media.
The top right Mute button will pause/play your media.
The side Volume buttons sill increase/decrease the volume with short presses, and skip to the next/previous track with a longer press.

If your media buttons don't work, try a battery pull.

I personally haven't noticed anything different than in .480 other than the alarm bug is gone and a few apps take about 5 seconds to close, whereas in .480 all of them closed instantly.
    Thats because your phone sucks

Truly insightful and probably the best post in the whole thread. This is the kind of info that solves all problems.

What else can you tell to someone that doesn't spot any difference between a .480&.600?? But we're really lucky because "personal Jesus" like you and Phill exist.!!!!

I injected the 480 ribbon_app.cod, but the problem is still there. Important is that with .480 firmware I haven't any issue. So plz suggest me what's the right .cod that manages notification menu!
    Thanks!!

Ok, the personal jesus comment was funny. If I do what I do, it is because CB members did it to me when I was a noob. Just giving back to the community.

    @satanberry:

I really didn't like .570. .576 thou was just not that good. I did use it before .600 came out. It was average.

It's better to sleep if you have no energy, these answers aren't useful in a forum. If anyone, except Sir zocster, can help me, it would be appreciated.
    Thanks a lot!

Zocster is always helpful. You even quoted him in your reply. Inject the cod from .461, not .480 as you said you've done.

Hey, all. Ran into a problem. I re-installed this OS and I can't open Email Management. When I try to, I get the message "Unable to open email set up application. Please contact wireless service provider." After an hour on the phone with my wireless service provider, I'm two steps backward. I've tried deleting service books, re-registering with the network and everything. I'm thinking it's the app itself. Anyone have an OTA of the latest Email App?
