Installed it and it's never been better. Much better than the hybrid with .576 base by Lykleobrien. Excellent battery so far and very little slowdowns. No close tab low memory warning either!

Yeah, that was annoying me too.

I fixed it by injecting the .480 ribbon cods via BBSAK, and everything works fine now. I was going to use the .546 cods, but didn't want to risk a return of the bug where the SIM app opened on power up.

Phil, thank you very much! Your suggestion above not only solve the Option Preference problem but it also solved 3rd party theme problem which I've been facing since 570 where the grid menu will always show empty screen the first time you access the menu button right after battery pull or right after installation of a 3rd party theme, especially the ones without trays...

Instead of the 480 pack, I used the ones from 546, the last version I had before 570 problem.

    Thanks thanks thanks!

After the Update I realized two things rather negative:

    1) In the Media the was an option for the "Memory Utilization" that is gone
    2) The Browser reverts to the old Bug in the .2xx Build where it looses it's Login-Information over a Reboot.

Both not essential for me - overall I see less of the Timer clock and the odd Browser-Crash with the "This page is too big to be displayed"-messages and the closing of all Tabs hasn't happended yet.
Besides from this the battery life seems to be a bit better

Have they fixed the browser memory issues since 534, including forced closing of tabs and disappearing text?

Guys : anyone out there using .600 with BBM 6.0.0.111 beta ?
I've been noticing issues with this combo.

    (1) Either .600 is making the phn hang
    (2) beta BBM 6.0.0.111 has some problems

Its a bit tough to zero-in which of the TWO is messing up. Guess only way is to downgrade BBM to 5.0.3 and observe.

Overall - am sooooooo pleased with .600 OS. Jus' plain brilliant !!

Any suggestions for my problem ??

I've never seen a 'Memory Utilisation' option in Media, in any OS build. Can you explain where it was exactly, and what it did?

I've also never experienced that 'old bug' where login info is lost. I'm permanently logged into CB and always am after a reboot.

I believe the browser disappearing text bug was fixed in .570 as I've not experienced it since then.

As for the forced closing of tabs, I've not had that happen for a loooong time... and I was really pushing the browser to the limits then

I have tried all the releases after .480 and I then went back to .480 again, because it worked best for me. My question is, does it have any functional benefit at all to go from .480 to .600?

    @ albertinik

I see you are having .600 with BBM .111 beta. Any problems you are facing? I had the same combo & BBM messages weren't flowing IN & OUT speedily. Tick to D to R was very, very laggy. Sending pics was "like never"

Just got rid of it & moved back to 5.0.3 & things are again doing great with .600

    Comments please ???

i must say, the battery on this OS has been great so far. even with normal/heavy use where i used to be at 3-5% and hr discharge, im holding steady at 2.2%. also, idle rates are close to 1-1.5%. not bad at all.

Yes, you will still need to delete the vendor.xml file. Although they're both Vodafone, UK and Australia both have different vendor ID's.
