You can take the .600 java files from the 9700 and copy/paste them into the .576 java folder from 9780. It will ask you if you want to replace, and you hit okay (something to that effect). Delete the vendor files, shrink the OS if you want (Hybrid Tools, BBSAK etc) and then run AppLoader as usual. You should be good to go.
I'm sorry. This is all new to me. I need to make sure. After swapping the .cod file into the java folder, do I delete just the Vendor.xml file, then run apploader to reinstall the OS?

Any of your experiencing issues with "Scanning a bar code" with this version? My BB reboots every single time I try to scan one...

    Anybody else see this?:
I put the phone to sleep with the red cancel/hang up button. When you bring it back up with that button, it says "initializing sim card."

Yup, that happens in all OS6 builds from .546 upwards

    It's gone in .600 though

Anymore feed backs on 576? 546 is stable for me at the moment. Is 576 upgrade worth the time spent?.

Not for the 9780, but I tried my own .600 9700 Java swap for a while.

I tried .570 for an hour and wasn't overly impressed with it. I skipped .576 as it's too close to .570 to be much different.
I'm back on official .546 for now... until something better comes along.

hi guyS! does anyone have this problem with the notification bar?
with .480 no matters, then i upgraded (after wipe) to .570 and it appeared. So I thought it was a problem of this firmware and i downgraded to .546, but no way even now with .576.
I dont use a particular theme, i dont really know what could be the solution!

please see the pic to the link to understand my problem, and maybe help me to solve it.

I'm running .546 Marco, but I don't use the stock theme anymore, which is probably why I haven't seen it before.

Never seen something like that Marco. .570 is definetely a buggy, crappy O.S., .546 runs well as .576 is a bit better minus one bug. It may be a screen issue have you tried to bring it to a Vodafone One store and see what they say?
If you're in a contract you should have a 2 years full warranty. Even better with casco. Te lo cambiano e basta

Hi Albertinik, you mentioned 576 fix 1 bug from 546. What does it fix? And is 576 really better than 546 without introducing another new bugs?

They took off the SIM Menu bug, but they still have left the clock misalignment there. I don't really see much better differences from .546 to .576.
I'm running .600 which is an decent upgrade, otherwise I'd suggest you to sit with .546.
