I am using Package Version: 5.0.0.1728
on BB 9000 BOLD sine last 3 weeks, till now no issue as such.
Overall it seems to be the best version so fall.

ANY CLUE when ver 6 will be leaked for 9000 Bold
as I am desprate to try it.
OS 6 will not be released for the 9000. Although there might be enough processing power, there is not enough internal memory to run OS 6. RIM could have probably stripped down OS 6 to make it run on the 9000, but it makes better business sense to have us upgrade our phones.

I had a pretty severe battery draining issue with 4.6. When I upgraded to 5.0.0.1067 it got a LOT better.

I had a battery drain issue. It drained down to 95% withing the first couple minutes of use.

Got myself a new battery and the phone seems to last forever before it drains down to 95%.

After upgrading to the latest version on my Rogers Bold 9000, my twitter app is not working anymore.
I have tried both the official bb twitter app and ubersocial.

I can access my profile but the apps won't fetch any tweets.

Anyone have any ideas what may be wrong?

    Thanks

It's been awhile since I updated my BB9000 mainly bec. I'm contented with .1049. Now,is it really worth it? Is .1067 better than .1049? If it is,I'd be happy to upgrade but if it's not, then I think I will stick with my current version. BB9000's a keeper and I would like to keep it running as smooth as it is right now.

I just installed this over the weekend. Using Shrink-A-OS, I start out with 32ish MB free memory on a fresh restart. Settles down to 19MB (without much use). Still monitoring but it's looking okay.

Noticed the BBM downgrade - easily fixed through Blackberry App World.

Battery life is pretty good so far - about the same, maybe marginally better than 1049.

No other issues at the moment.

This is by far best OS 5 build for bold 9000. I tried OS 5.0.0.681 and OS 5.0.0.822 before this and was really disappointed with the momory leaks. This 5.0.0.1027 is more stable. Less memory leaks and better battery life.
